'Cartography' is a stop motion animation film in which Canada, Texas, and Trinidad are drawn in a triangular patter in chalk on the floor as I proceed to drag and roll myself on the floor across each of the maps until they are completely erased. Since I am wearing a black leotard and black tights, the imprint of the white chalk becomes transferred from the floor to my body. The three locations blend and imprint themselves onto me.
